  • As I think of the jobs I've held in the past and as a newly single mom, I'm finding more and more about myself and am getting stronger in the process. The most recent job at The Picklr, some of my highlights included running tournaments and events and making them fun for the members. I enjoyed working with the junior members and helping that program grow. I enjoyed being out in the pickleball community, doing the 4th of July parade and other events to spread the word and get people familiar with The Picklr. I enjoyed sharing my passion in my monthly, sometimes bi-monthly presentations to possible new franchise owners on what I did as the club coordinator and all of the different hats I wore. I enjoyed brainstorming with my staff & members on better ways to run and do things. I enjoyed getting to know and visiting with the members as they came in and listened to what they liked and didn't like as well as ideas on what they would like to see on the calendar in the future. I also enjoyed the flexibility of it and being able to work remotely at times if needed. I was often complimented on how well I worked with the members, even the unhappy ones. Patience and professionalism was my go to motto on a day to day basis.
