Marketing / Customer service Representative
Y-Tex
Cody, WY
03.2023 - 05.2024
At Y-Tex my duties include looking at every order received, printing, and marking/highlighting the important information to help get the orders to who can best fill them in my department
To do so I have to read every email and order received carefully and thoroughly
That being said I also input most of the large stock orders we receive
I also manage the credits needed when one of our customers is overcharged, does not receive their complete order, or has a booth in their stock shows representing us
Service Representative
Lincare
Cody, WY
12.2021 - 05.2022
My job at lincare started as a delivery driver
Due to short staffing I was kind of thrown to the wolves and put on the truck on my own too soon
I didn't let this stop me from doing my absolute best
I had gotten it down to2 delivery days a week most weeks when it's supposed to be three
But the days were long and I have two small children and a husband I needed to be home with as well
So we found another driver and I got to move into the customer service representative position
I work hard to make sure patients are taken care of by reading chart notes and recognizing further ways we can help our patients have a higher quality of life
CNA
Cody Regional Health- Long Term Care Center
Cody, WY
03.2020 - 11.2021
To this day I follow up on patients at CRH LTC
I don't think I had ever connected with anyone the way I did these patients
When I started I fell in love
These patients were so dear
Unfortunately in my first week on the floor training, I witnessed the CNA training me abusing2 residents
Both were nonverbal and couldn't tell anyone what was happening to them
I felt so uneasy and went home in tears, confused, and angry over it
The following day I went to the unit manager and the social worker and reported the aid
After that the aid lost her job and was reported to the board of nursing
From then on I made myself the loudest advocate for patients I could be
In doing so I quickly made friends with several amazing CNA's, the unit clerk, and the unit manager on the first floor
This also led to a trust of our most vulnerable patients and I was set to primarily work in the dementia unit
I spent everyday helping the fourteen sweet women in the unit try to understand that they were in fact home, they were loved very deeply, and that they would be taken care of
We did normal cares, getting dressed, brushing hair and teeth, and eating
However, we also spent time curling hair, painting nails, reading, and watching classic movies and TV shows
These ladies were told several times each day how loved they were, often followed by them patting my knee or asking for a hug
Unfortunately after9 months covid hit LTC hard
And eventually our dementia unit had to be turned into the covid unit
Which had our poor ladies displaced and put in unfamiliar territories
They were frightened and because of the trust I had built and my willingness to do what was needed I didn't get to move onto the first floor with them
I was primarily working in the covid unit
I spent8-12 hours a day in full PPE trying to comfort sick, scared, covid patients
That was the hardest part of any job I've ever had
I couldn't physically show patients I was there for them
Half the time my presence scared them as the couldn't even see half my face anymore
The hardest was a male Patient I watched decline in his mental state so rapidly
He was once the most sarcastic, quick, and funniest patient I had ever met
Covid hit and he didn't make sense, he was stumbling over words, and could even recognize voices of his daughters let alone those of us who took care of him every day
That was when it became apparent I needed to step away from CNA work for a bit and find another job in healthcare to pass some time before I decide to return to school for nursing
CNA
Powell Valley Care Center
Powell, WY
08.2019 - 02.2020
I absolutely adored my residents at the Care Center
I was fortunate enough to get to make sure they started their day with a smile, help dress, and get them ready to go see their friends in the dining room for breakfast
I would spend my day then making sure they were comfortable and getting them back and forth to activities and appointments
Most days I was also there to start with those patients who were ready to go to bed fairly early
So we would go through our get up process in reverse
I took pride in changing it for each individual patient depending on what made them most comfortable and was easiest for them
My patients and their care meant the world to me
I was very sad to leave them but knew I was on to something that would further my knowledge and skills

As the cashier at Walgreens I am held responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service
I am also responsible for keeping merchandise stocked and neat
Knowing where items are located and if Walgreens carries and has them in stock is another responsibility of my job

I have also spent many shifts as a Walgreens beauty consultant
As a beauty consultant my job is to know different makeup brands and products each brand offers

As a waitress at Cassie’s I was the only day waitress and occasionally covered evening shifts when another waitress called into work
My job included being responsible for clearing, cleaning, and setting tables; keeping dishes caught up to prevent the night shift from starting out behind, and being the cashier and keeping track of the money made during the day
Cashier
Good2 Go
Cody, WY
06.2015 - 08.2015
At Good2 Go I spent most of my time preparing and serving food in the Champ’s Chicken and Port of Subs food court
That being said I was required to be trained to use the deli slicer, fryers, and pass an online food service course
I also spent time in the convenience store stocking shelves, and acting as a cashier
While working at Good2 Go I began building my customer service and people skills
