I currently design ISO safety certified products (sensors, computing platform) from concept to production. Previously I've designed full- and semi-automated manufacturing equipment of all kinds and scales, from table-top system to turn-key robotics systems. Here are a few of my typical responsibilities:
Mechanical and mechatronic design understanding across a number of different industries, from electric vehicles to medical devices.
Design and manufacture of sheet metal, castings, complex assemblies and mechanisms, sensors, electric motors and controllers.
Rapid communication cycles- I typically work with an up-front specification, so I design the system by frequently sharing ideas, concepts, and progress, soliciting feedback with engineers and customers.
Full Stack execution: Concepting, detailing, drawing, purchasing, receiving, kitting, documentation, assembly, debugging, process development, project management. Not afraid to wear several hats, fill in roles where needed; I get my hands dirty and I make things happen, regardless of what the task is.
Working in multiple disciplined (electrical, mechanical, software, application) design teams
