Outbound Singles involved packing single item orders into boxes to ship out. In addition to that, my job duties included:

• Receiving and putting away inventory
• Getting customer orders ready and packing them up
• Loading boxes into trucks for shipment
• Using scanners to read bar codes on products
• Viewing prompts on screens and following the direction for some tasks
• Troubleshooting problems
• Ensuring product meets quality requirements
• Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and working at heights up to 35 feet

This position requires me to be the caregiver for both elderly and mentally ill residents. I assist the residents that have difficulty performing daily tasks. My tasks include:

• Personal care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring
• Meal preparation: Planning and preparing meals
• Medication management: Administering medication
• Housekeeping: Doing laundry and light housekeeping
• Transportation: Taking clients to appointments, the grocery store, and other important places
• Companionship: Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
• Documentation: Keeping proper care records
• Basic skills: Teaching basic skills
• Mental and physical health exercises: Helping the senior with mental and physical health exercises
