1) Department of Internal Medicine

• in-patient clinical experience
• Made complete, timely, and accurate clinical decisions with attendings for each patient and continually looked for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
• 8 Night shifts every month: admitted up to 10 patients per shift, identified critical cases, and arranged ICU transferring
• Elective : Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and I/D

2) Department of Neurology : 2 months

• Independent neuro consultant : Triaged up to 15 neurologic patients at ED per day
• Neuro ICU : took care of patients with IICP, SE, MGs with AHRF

• Code room : Ran the code and performed Intubations
• Arranged ICU transferring after codes and rapid response

4) Elective : General surgery (Liver Transplant team)

• Worked at the largest liver transplant center in Taiwan
• Took care of inpatients awaiting liver transplant surgery (patients with severe decompensated liver cirrhosis, acute liver failure workup)
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

5) Research program

• Collected data of immune markers and PFTs in ILD patients with rheumatologic diseases, analyzed ILD CT findings with radiologists

• Collected data related to tobacco use in teenagers in Kaohsiung City and proposed a local smoking cessation program for teenagers
• Geriatric Long-term care level 1 licensure certified; set up COPD home services for the elderly with social workers/case managers

1) Labor Healthcare Team:

• Labor healthcare doctor licensure certified by Taiwan Occupational Medicine Association
• 100-hour health check experience: Identified and referred severe occupation-related poisoning/injuries cases

2) Department of Internal Medicine

• Took care of 10-15 patients daily in the ward, developed an open rapport with them, and cooperated with social workers/PT closely to maximize patients' benefits
• 72-hour POCUS diagnostic ultrasound training certified and executed the skills in clinical practice
• Certified procedures : CVC/double lumen placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis
• Electives : Cardiology, I/D, Oncology, and Hospice care

3) COVID-19 Physician at Cardinal Tien Hospital, An-Kang branch

• took care 10 COVID-19 patients per day; In charge of 2 hemodialysis patients at COVID-19 ward per day
• fostered treatment plan, performed intubation adjusted ventilation settings in a recourse-limited hospital
• Built Infection control protocol and COVID-19 protocol with I/D Center
• Coordinated patients transferring with house team at general ward and built a transferring report system between medical teams

1) Department of Internal Medicine

• pre-rounds the patients, finalizes management plan with rounders, coordinates patients’ care with specialists
• Ethical care : arranges family meetings and provides GOC discussion timely when they are needed
• Certified procedural skills : Internal jugular line placement, paracentesis
• Supports training of junior residents, fosters a collaborative learning environment within the residency program.

2) Ongoing QI project : Rapid Response Survival cards;

• aims to improve residents' stress score and confidence score during rapid response calls.
