  • Designed integration of sensor data/event on Alexa multimodal devices to control device states for both FireOS (Android based OS) and C++.
  • Launched Alexa skill ratings to allow customers to provide ratings via voice and touch (multimodal devices). This reduces friction for customers to provide ratings which increased overall ratings for skills by 2.5 stars. Alexa skill ratings was launched in 11 locales.
  • Led team of 3 engineers to design and implement automated data pipeline to compute econometric models to perform downstream value analysis of Alexa experiences. This work helped reduce overall time taken to compute results from 4 months with 2 BI engineers and 1 economist to less than a week. The system also made onboarding of workflows easier (100+ workflows onboarded in 1 week's time, previously needed 1 BIE and 1 economist 1 month's effort)
  • Led initial design and implementation for Alexa derived data deletion for deletion requests from customers for compliance requirements (e.g GDPR). The service served peak 5K TPS of deletion traffic and supported 3 archive formats.
