I have experienced working with kids through volunteering as a soccer coach assistant and babysitting for family members. I volunteered as a soccer coach assistant in 2024. The team I volunteered for was a youth team of 11–13-year-old boys. The season started in August and ended in early November. I enjoyed this volunteer work because it was great seeing the kids learn and grow. Therefore, in 2025, I helped out in another soccer team that was a girls' team from 11 to 13 years old. This season was shorter and lasted only 2 months. My volunteer experience was not 6 months together, but rather split; I believe it was an amazing learning experience. Also, I would like to include that I volunteered to help kids learn a cultural dance in my church community. It was a month of volunteering to help the kids learn this dance. I'm not sure if it applies, but I just wanted to include it in case it did. During my volunteering as a coach assistant, I encouraged teamwork, supervised children, and ensured a positive environment. Through my babysitting and dance helper experience, I developed responsibility and learned to work with multiple children simultaneously. It was a great learning experience. These experiences have enabled me to work with students and make me a promising candidate as an assistant.
