At the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I studied aspects of biology, environmental science, and geography. Studying from these three pillars broadened my knowledge of the natural world and left me with concrete skills in ArcGIS, python, and ESRI. Classes I took included freshwater ecology, ArcGIS, herpetology, web making, and climatology. My education was inspired by my passion for animals and the environment and that passion enabled me to succeed in the classroom. In turn, my time spent in the classroom has now allowed me to further my talents in my career with the subjects and skills I learned in school. My training in animal care, wether in a veterinary clinic, animal rehabilitation center, or zoo, has come full circle and allowed me to become a passionate worker with a complete understanding of the natural world.
