Having almost 3 years of customer service experience. With 9 months of that being in a medical front desk position, I am in search for a position within the Vancouver Clinic that will allow me to further my career and use knowledge of the skills I have gained, and teaching the skills to those around me.
Acknowledge and promptly check-in patients in a warm, professional manner
Verify, update, and enter all patient information; demographics, insurance, and guarantor information.
Standard Work adherence.
Obtain any required documents for visit.
Collect payments – copayments and payment on balance in accordance with EPIC workflow guidelines.
Communicate patient arrival to clinical staff promptly.
Monitor patient waiting period and alert clinical staff and update patients and guests as needed.
Assure lobby cleanliness and orderly appearance at all times.
Respond to all telephone communications in a caring and professional manner.
Process messages promptly and accurately following HIPAA guidelines. Effectively communicate patient requests to appropriate personnel.
Schedule patient appointments/referrals per established department protocols.
Utilize interpersonal skills to help promote team work and manage conflict.
Reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
Collect, reconcile, and balance payment receipts each day per Cash Handling Policy/Procedures, assure 100% compliance.
Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Take guest orders, process payment and make accurate change.
Ensure guest receives quality products as ordered.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
Address guest concerns.
Clean and stock.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Participate in ongoing training.
