Summary

Dedicated and compassionate future educator with a wide range of hands-on experience working with children from early childhood through adolescence in both general and special education settings. I’ve had the opportunity to support learners across various environments—as a teaching assistant at Wildwood Programs for students with disabilities, a group leader in the Friday Knights program at The College of Saint Rose, a camp counselor, and a choreographer on the Saint Rose Dance Team.

Through these roles, I’ve developed strong skills in classroom management, communication, activity planning, and inclusive instruction—often adapting lessons and routines for students with diverse needs and learning styles. I’ve also gained valuable experience working with AAC devices and collaborating with speech, occupational, physical therapists, and social workers.

In addition to work experience, I’ve completed observation hours in a variety of school settings, including Albany International Center, Giffen Memorial Elementary, Blue Creek Elementary, Elsmere Elementary, and schools within the Troy City School District. These experiences have allowed me to see different teaching styles, classroom structures, and the importance of creating engaging, supportive learning environments for all students.
