I am someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic about work and respects others. It is critical to value the way others view oneself because of how one carries oneself and acts and to appreciate yourself as well. I am very passionate about welding and am thoroughly invested in pursuing this as my career! Family is my top priority and I value the time spent with them. My horse keeps me active and brings me endless joy. I thrive with positivity and seek others who share the same energy as me. I am gregarious and sociable, and my pursuit of excellence is evidenced by my placing high in welding competitions as the only woman. I placed fourth in a Skills USA competition and placed 14th out of 170 boys last year at the Steel Days competition in Cheyenne, WY. I also take pride in winning buckles at a horse show every year during the summer competing against others to showcase my horsemanship. These experiences taught me persistence and dedication to the things I love the most. I have worked since I was 14 years old and have taught myself time management and responsibility by learning everyday soft skills that most kids today do not obtain, therefore this will lead me to success in my future.
