I have 36 years of manufacturing experience including; customer service, engineering, estimating / quoting, QA and delivery amongst many other various duties. I am knowledgeable in many types of software including: Solidworks; Solid Designer; Photoshop; Auto Cad (including Striker); Adobe Illustrator; Sigmanest; Radan; Flow Master; Coss: Pro; Tru-top; NCell; all of Microsoft Office programs; and am proficient in digital picturetaking and downloading. I also have 21 years' experience with lasers and 9 years foreman/supervisor position. I also have a passion for coaching. I have been coaching for 15 years now from ages 4-18 year olds in Girls fast pitch softball on traveling club teams to Volleyball club teams.

  • I started in sales and customer service for 18 months before also taking on the estimating engineer position
  • Duties included contract review which consisted of pre-review of customer placed orders, review customer print for accuracy, pricing and production routing
  • Responsibility included customer post review which entailed job costing and BOM/routing efficiency and order entry
  • Estimating/engineering duties included estimating the cost to produce manufacturing parts using the customer supplied print and developing routing for manufacturing
  • I was also involved in QA and the writing of NCR's and ECN'sI played a key role in the decision making of the purchase of their Flow waterjet
  • I trained to learn the software and programming for it and the learned how to run the machine so I could train the operators
  • UMI sent me to Kent, Washington for the training of the waterjet
  • I also set up the programming software Radan for the two Co2 lasers we had and the waterjet.

  • Duties include programming lasers parts for two Mazak lasers using Auto cad Striker, customer service, taking customer calls, writing up customer orders for production, downloading drawings from e-mails and turning the drawings into production format, and overseeing the laser department and inspection for quality, (QA)
  • Assembling enclosures and crating them for shipment, also made deliveries to customers
  • Worked in paint prep area to prep enclosures and other parts for painting
  • Also worked in steam cleaning department and steamed enclosures and helped in the brake press area.

  • Duties included ECO's; turning R & D, Purchasing, Fabrication, Wiring and Assembly drawings into production drawings and exploded view drawings for manufacturing and for our vendors
  • I was in charge of detailing and printing drawings and sending them to their respected departments
  • I entered data of each drawing, customized; created part numbers; created laser part numbers for the fabrication drawings and prepared them for laser programming
  • I worked closely with the Purchasing Dept
  • And Vendors, assisting them with engineering drawings answering any questions they had
  • I also converted production drawings from 'dwg' to 'dxf' and 'pdf' formats
  • I took calls from vendors helping answer any questions they would have about a project
  • I worked very closely with the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Departments as well as Vendors; Purchasing Dept
  • And the Production Dept
  • I started out at Alto-Shaam designing as a Mechanical Engineer as part of the design team, my first job was to convert all coin bending designs into air bending designs
  • Some of the projects I worked on were to re-design some of the out dated units that were in stores like a CC-24 heating unit that kept chicken and other cooked food warm while on display using Solid Works and Auto cad software
  • Due to my skills and knowledge in many different types of software applications, I was moved a few years later to the PDE Dept
  • Where I could assist Production and help out in Design
  • I also programmed the lasers using Sigmanest software.I worked with the shop floor employees and made any changes and updates to drawings that might be needed at the time of manufacturing
  • I took digital pictures of wire set-ups and downloaded them to Microsoft Word documents and labeled and detailed the pictures for a better understanding of how to put them together
  • I was a member of the Lean Manufacturing visual team and took step-by-step pictures of how the assembly was to go together, then downloaded pictures in Excel and labeled and made assembly notes
  • I was also was the back up parts inspector.
