I have 38 years retail experience. I have worked for Grocery Store chains I.E. Fry's and Albertson's where I was promoted to a Meat Manager. I am a Veteran and served as a Section Chief for the communications section in the U,S, Army for 6 years. I wanted to expand my managerial skills to total store operations so left the Meat manager position to take on the role of Zone Supervisor at Walmart and then was promoted to Assistant Store Manager for 6 years and my total years of service at Walmart was 11 years. Upon leaving Walmart I went to work for 99 Cent Only Store as an Assistant Manager and then was promoted to Store Manager and have held that position for the last 4 years. I am still currently employed there however the company has decided to close all 388 stores. I was contacted by my former CO Manager Ken Barbera that is now a store manager for Hobby Lobby when he heard about the 99 Cent Only Stores closing down.
