Within my current position, my duties include investigating human trafficking, narcotics, gangs, violent crime, and fugitive apprehension. Additionally, I hold ancillary positions to include being an Assistant Team Leader on the PPD SWAT Team, a department trainer (human trafficking, use of force, defensive tactics, tactical operations, chemical agents), and holding leadership positions within the Contra Costa Human Trafficking Task Force.

As a Deputy with the Contra Costa County Sheriff Department, I was assigned to the Martinez Detention Facility working in a custody setting. My duties within this role included supervising those incarcerated, assisting with processing those being booked into the facility, ensuring the safety and security of the facility, and transporting those incarcerated to and from court. I also held an ancillary position with the Martinez Detention Facility SERT Team. This team was responsible for assisting with higher profile events occurring within the facility such as cell extractions of violent subjects and pre-planned larger scale searches.

My duties within this position were to service existing accounts throughout the Northern California territory, acquire new business via referrals and cold calls, and to manage inventory levels in local product warehouses.

My duties within this role included assisting with sales and customer service, managing inventory at the local warehouse and among existing accounts, placing and fulfilling orders under strict time constraints, receiving and shipping inventory, as well as performing local sales calls and deliveries with a company vehicle.
