Core responsibilities were to work with business partners and development team to come up with new interface design concept centered toward a better user experience with usability heavily in mind. worked closely with design team to develop prototyping environment to test new designs prior to going to development by usability studies at various Corbis offices around the world. Designed with photoshop, and code in html, css, js, php and ASP.NET.

After prototyping stage, took on role of UI lead and built out team of 15 engineers to take prototype version to production within six months.

• Lead UI team for for first major Corbis website revision in 8 years, bringing the website up to modern web standards no only in look and feel, but implementation.
• Converted PSD mockups into pure hand-written HTML and CSS pages.
• Reviewed solutions to verify alignment with customer objectives, organization guidelines and benchmarks and industry best practices.
• Redesigned and implemented complete web applications to meet web and industry standards.

Responsible for the UI development of online applications. Designed compositions with Photoshop and collaborated with backend engineering team to streamline the application logic and process. Developed UI for applications and tied designs to backend processes developed by engineering team. Product was to streamline and simplify mortgage application process from initial application and credit check to final mortgage submission to underwriters.

• Worked with technical leads, engineers and designers to develop dynamic client-side web applications across various areas of business.
• Generated UX concepts such as tasks analysis, storyboards and use cases to accelerate user flow.
• Crafted digital branding based on UI system layout, asset identification and project requirements.

Took lead of the web department and streamlined the development process. Increased output of current web department that allowed the department to take on more projects. Managed online databases for our company and most of our clients. Clients included: Seven Feathers Casino & Hotel Resort, Creative Images, CI Printing, Roseburg Visitors and Convention Bureau, Bureau of Land Management, Ford Family Foundation, Umpqua Dairy, and the U.S. National Forest Service.

• Created content management system for Seven Feathers Casino & Hotel Resort that streamlined content creation and strong SEO that got the casino within the top 3 web search results for targeted keywords
• Created an automated employment application process for Seven Feathers Casino that managed potential employee application process and auto generated PDF files of applications.
• Lead the development of the standardized UI development and design guidelines for the U.S. National Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management regional websites for regional parks. Invited to lecture at BLM regional manager meeting about our process and how it helped regional park online engagement and section 504 compliance.
• Provided technology consultation for growing businesses, making recommendations and upgrading existing systems.

Lead design guidelines and implementations for modernizing and creating content systems for clients. Created a templating system in PHP that allowed for faster web-site creation and content management. Developed several interface designs for many in-house production software that utilized online databases to store client data. Clients included: Precept Golf, Mississippi Dept of Tourism, Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, Metro Jackson United Way, and Molpus Timberland.
