  • Deliver content that satisfies a Creative Director, Design Director and Art Director
  • Plan and maintain simultaneous level related projects
  • Assign out tasks to Level Design department directly and/or through Production
  • Plan, layout and construct performant, highly detailed and atmospheric 3D environments for single player, Co-Op PvE and PvP multiplayer gameplay
  • Build levels and assist in set dressing, lighting, gameplay, or any other area required
  • Work closely with other departments including: Production, Art, Programming, QA, Audio, Animation, UI/UX, Narrative
  • Create and maintain design documentation for systems, development pipelines and best practices
  • Assist with teaching, planning and execution of level design work to outsource persons
  • Participate in planning and development of: Game modes, enemies, system designs, weapon designs, narrative
  • Analyze and critique all aspects of design in games and give feedback
  • Host, observe and participate in playtests while gathering feedback

  • Completed Level Design and/or Design work on: Killing Floor, Killing Floor 2, Killing Floor Incursion, Maneater
  • Two years of experience creating and overseeing outsourced contracts
  • Ability to maintain deadlines without strong oversight from management or production
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and iteration
  • UE5 - Two years. UE4 - Four years, UDK - Eight years. Hammer - Two years
