Committed to maintaining accurate records and resolving customer inquiries, contributing to a seamless delivery experience.
Working as a route examination coordinator, my responsibilities included managing Postal managers during the route examination process, scheduling the respective managers to examine the tasked routes in each office we conducted route inspections/examinations.
The goals of USPS route examinations were to adjust the designated route before automation was initiated among the respective routes in the offices we examined, ensuring that each regular route consisted of as nearly an 8-hour workday as possible for the assigned letter carrier.
Adjustments aimed to reduce manual sorting time spent in the office (known as "casing"mail) in anticipation or in lieu of automation systems like Delivery Point Sequencing (DPS), which sort mail automatically into the order of delivery.
