Personal Overview:
I am a devout man of faith, of Irish decent, husband of 22 years, and proud father of three young men. An avid outdoorsman, with a passion for nature, deliberate but amicable, highly competitive, yet humble with an insatiable thirst for helping others succeed.
Staying mindful about the importance of maintaining a life - work - balance, I enjoy both competitive and tournament play golf. If you are unable to find me on the Putting Greens or T-box's, you could find me on the river banks where I thoroughly enjoy both fly fishing for trout (Montana); as well as conventional rod set-ups that support float, spinner, and drift-fishing techniques for both salmon and steelhead, the latter being my preference.
However, if ou are still unable to find me along the banks of the local fisheries I frequent, chances are, you wont because that means I am up in the Mountains, (Mt. St Helens) - (Mt. Adams); scouting for big game i.e., Elk, Deer, and Black-Bear in preparations for the upcoming archery season. There, I am able to tent-camp far and away so as to disconnect from civilization, and reconnect with mother nature.
It is important to prearrange well in advance these occasions as it provides the optimal setting to invest in self-improvement, which begins with introspection, which is much easier when all the hustle and bustle of every day life and the noise and distractions of the world are left behind. Speaking on my own accord, it seems as though the older I get, the more often I hear Muhammad Ali's, words echoing in my head, as he was quoted, "I don't know nothing compared to what I need to know."
