Accomplishments

  • Assisted in the design planning for six new kitchen and restaurant openings, as well as successfully
    completed two kitchen remodels for existing establishments in the Des Moines area.
  • Exceeded sales targets in three out of four years with Edward Don.
  • Revamped the bar area of Glen Oaks by eliminating a formal dining area, renovating into an extension
    of the bar area to create a member friendly atmosphere. This increased the revenue for that area by
    $80,000.
  • Designed a new Outside Cabana Bar Area at Glen Oaks to help create a resort style Aquatics Park
    which increased outside bar sales by over 20%.
  • Hands on leadership and training with staff which helped move Glen Oaks Country Club to one of the
    top venues for weddings and events as well as Top Workplaces 2017-2020.
  • Navigated COVID with over 50 staff members to maintain employment as well continue revenue for
    the Club.
