Adored finalist on season 15 of Bravo's Top Chef, Chris Scott has been cooking professionally for over 35 years. His diverse blend of cuisine is rooted in European techniques and style, but also has a foundation of his upbringing which is a unique blend of the American South and Pennsylvania Dutch cuisines. Chef Chris started his career in some of the great kitchens of Philadelphia but has branched out to other groundbreaking places nationwide, honing his skills and building his own voice in the industry. Chris went on to spearhead numerous James Beard Foundation dinners, became the executive chef for CNN and Warner Bros Corporate kitchens with Restaurant Associates and prepared dishes for then Senator Obama and Prime Minister Tony Blair. In addition to Top Chef, Scott also competed on, and finished as the Runner Up on OWN'S "The Great Soul Food Cook Off" and can also be seen as a resident judge on Beat Bobby Flay and competing on more Food Network programming. Chef Chris has opened several restaurants in Connecticut and New York, including Brooklyn Commune and Butterfunk Kitchen in Brooklyn and the spinoff Kiosk in Harlem, Butterfunk Biscuit Company. He released first cookbook, Homage, in the Fall of 2022, and has already sold 10,000 copies. It was also nominated for a James Beard Award. Homage offers readers experience Chris Scott's perspective of food as a vehicle to community. He is currently working on several media projects and writing his 2nd cookbook.
