  • My time there spans 3 different companies thru mergers and acquisitions - APAC Customer services, Expert Global Solutions (EGS) and Alorica. I was chosen as the Engineering Manager throughout all mergers
  • This environment consisted of 300000+ users on Avaya, Cisco and several Hosted solutions over my time there
  • After 9 months I was promoted to manage the newly formed Telecom Engineering Team to handle all infrastructure design, builds and support.
  • Designed and upgraded the existing systems from pre R5 versions through R8 versions as the upgrades were released including new server and gateway stand ups
  • Infrastructure consisted of 8 Avaya CM Systems separated geographically yet interconnected via UDP serving 23 sites both foreign and domestic.
  • Designed and restructured the dial plan between all CM's to eliminate years of expansion issues and plan for future growth.
  • Ran the design and conversion of all incoming circuits to SIP technology.
  • Alorica Merger - I was once again chosen to lead the merged Telecom Engineering team during the merger. This event also triggered the change to a Co-located platform of 17 new Avaya S8800 server pairs on R8 and all associated gateways.
  • Managed a multi national team of engineers and L3 & 4 escalation point for all Telecommunications and Unified Communications issues before escalating to vendors and manufacturers..
  • Reporting RCA up through a corporate structure to upper level management.
  • Monitoring and reporting network and QOS performance related to VOIP traffic and help
  • Design and implement policies to maintain proper network operation and QOS quality.
  • Forecasting budget needs on an annual basis
  • Maintained vendor relationships with carriers and business partners worldwide
  • Reason for Leaving: After the Alorica merger it was clear that myself and my team would be replaced with Alorica's existing team. Myself and several from my team chose to move on as this happened.
