Summary
After obtaining my educators license I took the test to gain my technology education certification. My work experience made me a prime candidate to go to PLTW training and head up the program at Gavit MS/HS. In that time we expanded the program to four teachers with a curriculum that would have eventually been available to students in 6th through 12th grade and have dual credit certification. The consolidation of Gavit and Morton unfortunately prevented that from ultimately happening. Now that the dust has settled we find ourselves in an even better position to create a robust dual credit path for our PLTW students.
