I first started out in 2000 working for Gresham roofing And my dad's construction company in the summertime and on weekends. We did everything from roofing houses to stick building houses all the way down to the dirt work. After graduating in 2005 I continued working with my dad's construction company until it started slowing down and my uncle talked me in to joining the union and starting with Cascade acoustics in 2009. Once joining the union, I was a truck driver for Cascade tell being able to join the training Centers apprentice program. I stayed with Cascade acoustics tell my apprenticeship was over and continued with them for the next eight years as a journeyman and then becoming a lead man and helping them run work. In late 2017 opportunities led me down to starting with WPI for better pay and greater opportunities I started with them as a journeyman and worked my way up to Running my own jobs as I am currently doing. Jobs that I have currently ran for WPI are East County library, Salem health clinic , PACR airport job , East County Elementary school. Which we all ran with no major accident, accidents, and all made money. I wish I could take all the credit for both of those, but it really comes down to the people that we have working for us. Which is all the way up from management down to the guys working to clean up. I look forward to seeing what comes for me either in this new Safety job or possibly still running work. This company has been great to work for. And don't see myself going anywhere for a long time.
