Accomplishments

I have been at Meridian Arvada for 28 years. I started as a CG & QMap, I left Meridian Arvada in 1997 because I needed full time employment and they did not have any at the time. I left to work in a Nursing Home. After working there a month, Marcia Klassen, BOM at the time, called to offer me a full time position at Meridian Arvada, I would be CG and Receptionist one day a week to get FT hours. I accepted the position and left the nursing home. In 2006 a FT Receptionist position was open, which I applied for and got the position. In 2011 Marcia Klassen, moved on the be the ED at Brookdale Meridian Boulder. I was encouraged to apply for this position and was blessed to get the job offer which I accepted. I worked with several ED's during this time and did my best to adapt to each one with a positive mindset. In I was promoted to AED and have always enjoyed coming to work at Brookdale Meridian Arvada. I would like the opportunity to transfer to Westland Meridian. I enjoy coming to work and learn something new everyday. Brookdale Westland has had it's challenges over the years and I would like to assist in helping to change the culture in this community by having a stable team to gain the trust of the residents and the associates in knowing that the team truly cares about them.
