  • I was the co-race director for a 5K that benefited local veterans but began as an effort to help flood victims from Tropical Storm Lee that ravaged Northeast Pennsylvania in September of 2011
  • I implemented an extensive marketing plan for the 5K and executed the plan from start to finish
  • The plan included everything from developing ads, creating a buzz on social media, and managing the registration process, to obtaining sponsorships, ordering customized awards, organizing volunteers, creating press releases, and so much more
  • The race portrayed a sense of community awareness for the company and created the image of a company that cares
  • It was a huge success and ran for the 8 years I was employed there
  • I must give credit to my work family that volunteered for this event every year and helped it run without a hitch
  • I never could have done it if it wasn’t for their support.
