Summary

I am excited to present my cross-functional experience. I currently manage a team of 5 working on the Tech Partner Marketing Program at Datadog. In this role, I own 3 different programs: our Startup Program, our GTM program for Integration Tech Partners & most recently, Datadog's Commercial Marketplace. My sweet spot is building programs, making them successful using my systems & process knowledge and then either scaling them by growing my team or handing them off to a different part of the business. All 3 of the programs listed above, were going to be cut at Datadog, and given to me to see if I could make one last effort to revive them. Want to hear if/how I did it? I'd love to chat about it in an interview :).

It is because of this entrepreneurial mindset, that I've been able to navigate large and small companies, varying industries and new positions over my career. I would love an opportunity to chat about your role.

Work History

Senior Marketing Manager

Datadog
01.2022 - Current
  • Owning three teams under the marketing umbrella I grow our ISV Tech Partnerships, Startup Program and Marketplace Growth
  • Startup Program: Built and scaled our global startup program through implementing operational efficiencies across our systems and working with our internal teams to convert more startups into paying customers
  • I used our systems to set up automations that tripled the startups accepted into the program from 15-20/month to 60-80/month without any marketing.
  • I worked with our customer success teams and set up new processes and documentation to more than double our ARR from 2 million to 5.1 million and grow our partner network of VCs, Incubators & Accelerators from 15 partners to 50
  • ISV Tech Partnerships: I manage a team of 1 that runs all of our GTM Initiatives with our strategic technology partners of which there are over 200
  • I work cross functionally with our Product teams, Product Marketing Teams and our Partners to create successful digital programs that drive MQLs and Opportunities for Datadog and our partners
  • I have scaled the program, creating a tiered system that aligns all 3 teams and have developed yearly marketing plans with our top tier partners focused on driving MQLs and meetings for the business
  • The team drives over 600 MQLs a quarter, with no spend, from this program
  • Datadog Marketplace: I manage a team of 3 to grow Datadog's commercial marketplace which operates by listing partner-built integrations for a fee.
  • My team is responsible for finding new partners or new integrations to list on our marketplace, ensuring the success of each partner after they list a new integration and identifying gaps & opportunities in our product where our Marketplace partners could support
  • I am responsible for delivering a strategic vision for this product to senior executives and over the first year in the program have grown revenue by $750,000. I did this through internally evangelizing the marketplace to our customer facing teams, enabling existing partners to sell more effectively and restructuring the team's roles and responsibilities to better suit our goals.

Senior Marketing Manager

Datadog
04.2021 - Current

In my first 9 months at Datadog I operated cross-functionally on strategic projects that didn't currently have a dedicated owner. I worked with the CMO to identify & source new projects that will help move the needle either internally or externally for Datadog's marketing & sales teams. Examples of projects I've worked on are:

  • Worked with senior sales leaders to Build a Customer Reference Program for the Enterprise Sales Team from scratch. By gaining trust and buy in from our enterprise reps, I built a database of customers that resulted in 10 references in the first 6 months for new lands & expansions. The program was later passed on to a dedicated customer marketing team to grow.
  • Orchestrated and project managed Datadog marketing's first cross-functional campaign, including work from 5 different functions across the team. The campaign supported a new product line and audience and generated over 5,000 leads. A dedicated role for a cross-functional campaign manager was later hired to take this on at a greater scale.
  • Implemented a web personalization (tool & project) for a section of our home page to drive traffic in specific languages for Germany, France and Italy. Used google optimize to run a first version. The program was discontinued as we didn't have the bandwidth to continue monitoring it.
  • Documented our internal processes & repeatable programs to increase the speed of onboarding for new hires in marketing, specifically within product marketing

  • Sqreen was acquired by Datadog in April 2021 but I was hired to manage and build out their demand gen function.

  • At Cobalt I was responsible for all of our demand gen initiatives: Paid Ads & Programs (Google search, Terminus, media placement), ABM programming (Terminus), Email Marketing (Hubspot), Event Program (in person and virtual), Event Sponsorships and marketing operations
  • I created and managed the companies first marketing-owned SDR team based in Berlin. The team was responsible for turning marketing leads into opportunities and revenue for the business.
  • I managed up to 6 full time and freelance workers to build all of the above programs while measuring my program's impact on company ARR.

Marketing Manager

Rockbot
06.2015 - 10.2017
  • At Rockbot I was a generalist marketer, marketing to enterprise chains like Burger King, Planet Fitness and Macy's as well as individual brick & mortar businesses who required licensed music at their stores
  • I managed all of our SEO & content creation for our website, built sales enablement materials for our team to use in the pursuit of enterprise franchises (Burger King, Planet Fitness etc.) and managed & ran our marketing automation out of Hubspot.

Inbound Marketing Representative

HubSpot
06.2013 - 01.2015
  • I started my career at Hubspot in a sales position sourcing opportunities for Account Executives in the Bay Area market
  • Exceeded my quota every quarter I was in the role
  • This was my first taste of the startup world and taught me how to work relentlessly towards a monthly goal
  • This position inevitably led me towards switching my career focus to marketing as I loved to utilize the Hubspot product as a marketer in my spare time.
