Worked closely with the campus counselor and the other 504 co-coordinator to schedule 504 meetings with parents and students at the Middle School.


Facilitates the implementation of the school board approved Section 504 Policy.


Continually revises and ensures the implementation of consistent Section 504 procedures.


Collects and maintains all Section 504 data (504 plans and lists of eligible students) for reference purposes.


Works collaboratively with school coordinators and administrators.


Works towards developing an improved understanding of adolescents’ educational needs on the part of teachers, administrators, and parents.

  • Performed small group Take Flight and/or MTA curriculums based on student needs with focus on dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
  • Provide specialized instruction and progress monitor our dyslexia students through the MTA program.
  • Yearly screen our 7th grade students per the state of Texas requirements.
  • Continue to monitor students even after they have completed the dyslexia curriculum to ensure compliance and that students are still being successful in their academics.
