Summary

Accomplished Data Warehouse Architect with over 20 years at ASSA ABLOY Inc., specializing in business intelligence and analytics. Proven track record in standardizing data structures and leading cross-functional projects, enhancing data accuracy and processing efficiency. Exceptional communication skills and expertise in SQL database design drive successful collaboration across global teams of increasing scope and size.

Generally familiar with the new Azure "Cloud" computing models and leading our first real push into using Azure for BI data with the Fabric ASSA Residential project, leading into next year's plan of rebuilding current warehousing projects, taking advantage of the new technologies.

This analytics and data role looks to be a natural progression, especially given the direction of the past couple of years has provided. Any new role will come with a learning curve as not all elements are within my natural comfort zone, but then, no growth comes without challenge and stepping out of what is comfortable.

  • Managed relationships and consistent integration points with internal application teams such as TrackPoint, CCF, CRD Dash, Connect and more recently the new Price Hub and Trade Compliance projects.
  • Standardized JDE to ASSAMART data processing, achieving over 90% automation in configuration tasks.

A few major projects:

· Lead the integration and roll out for BI dozens of JDE integrations through ASSAMART and both standardized and custom reporting and dashboarding needs.

· Executed launch of twelve DSS, RSS, DG, and YSG companies into the initial design and launch of ASSAMART. This was followed by designing, developing and deploying the version 2 of ASSAMART with a distributed data model in 2005. This is still our current model after twenty years in service.

  • Designed and the Engineered TrackPoint database supporting the web application which went live in 2007. The original version was hardware only and has been expanded to, as of last weekend, Kwikset from the new residential division.
  • 2009 Redesigned 'GL Mart' warehouse from the solution purchased from Rapid Decision resulting in a reduction of an hour to typically less than one minute for JDE financial reports. This solution is still in service.
  • Oversaw the JDE replication process to the marts and ODS for the past two decades, maintaining high data accuracy, improving processing, and expanding from sixty to support more than three hundred (300) concurrent tables. Expanded service to include Central and South American companies.
  • 2019 Managed migration of NH BI team to WIPRO DC2 datacenter.
