Generally familiar with the new Azure "Cloud" computing models and leading our first real push into using Azure for BI data with the Fabric ASSA Residential project, leading into next year's plan of rebuilding current warehousing projects, taking advantage of the new technologies.
This analytics and data role looks to be a natural progression, especially given the direction of the past couple of years has provided. Any new role will come with a learning curve as not all elements are within my natural comfort zone, but then, no growth comes without challenge and stepping out of what is comfortable.
A few major projects:
· Lead the integration and roll out for BI dozens of JDE integrations through ASSAMART and both standardized and custom reporting and dashboarding needs.
· Executed launch of twelve DSS, RSS, DG, and YSG companies into the initial design and launch of ASSAMART. This was followed by designing, developing and deploying the version 2 of ASSAMART with a distributed data model in 2005. This is still our current model after twenty years in service.
Ran the Pitney Bowes Escrow platform project through two production releases. The role included project planning, coordinating between local and remote technical resources (Montreal), regular specifications reviews, documentation, status reports, negotiations of contracts for application changes, technical documentation, and working with Sr. Management on milestones, status reports, and strategic planning.
Expanded the role of Praxinet to half of the consultancy's staff for the duration of the project.
Duties primarily included learning the Business Analyst, Documentation, Client Relationships, and Project Management tasks related to running increasingly complex projects, primarily working with various GE and Pitney Bowes departments. This was also the initial experience working with distributed teams, being that the technical team was based in Montreal.
