I am an experienced, goal oriented, and passionate EMT and Paramedic instructor. I am seeking a challenging opportunity to make a difference in the success of today’s EMS students at Broward College. I know that my 22 years as a Paramedic and my 20+ years of teaching experience will make this a reality. Understanding today’s generation and adapting to how they process information is a dynamic goal of mine. I feel that communication is very important, and I value input from my students. I use applications such as Remind, WhatsApp, text, email, and face-to-face office meetings to answer any questions or concerns the student might have. I am a team player and believe collaboration between instructors is vital to maintaining a strong faculty base.
I am looking for an opportunity to use my strong communication skills and experience to be a part of your team at Broward College. Working in the EMS field for over 20 years have taught me to work well under stress and to adapt during pressure situations. My organizational skills are above average, and I am passionate about develop and execute programs that will elevate the students of today to superior EMS professionals of tomorrow!

• Lead Paramedic Instructor for 14-month fulltime paramedic class.
• Responsible for creating 14-month Paramedic schedule as well as building quizzes, tests and lesson plans for a class of 25 students or more.
• In charge of data entry into Orbund, Fisdap and CoAEMSP.
• Teaching all Paramedic lectures and labs from semester one to four.
