5S/EHS: My current job role in the EHS department is a 5S associate. 5S is implemented to help reduce waste and increase efficiency by thoroughly cleaning & detailing a specific line to bring it back to its operational standards which is crucial for product integrity.

• Inspect equipment and fill out a morning checklist
• Hourly count
• Utilize lock out/tag out & PPE
• Troubleshooting when robot crashes
• Manually fill carts with the finished V6 W/P part after it has been M/C & "washed"
• Print label for each finished order
• Stack totes on rollers 13 high with the nonmachined V6 W/P parts for robot to obtain
• Quality checks using a caliper, micrometer, torque wrenches, dowel pin & jig

• Hourly color checks
• Check all fill weighs every two hours and turn into QC
• Watch for broken glass
• Empty drip pan tray from start-ups overflow
• Scrape and clean bubble suckers to ensure glass is clean and free of excess wax
• Clean sensors
• Check and fill hot glue tank
• Utilize lock out/tag out & PPE
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and orderly in compliance with the 6S requirements
• The manual ability to do a variety of task requiring some precision, mechanical aptitude, including the ability to operate, troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the PEM station to keep machine running

• Worked in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is a must
• Shift start-up
• Machine change over
• Led a group of at least 3 employees, to a group of 12+
• Hourly skid count, written and data entry
• Order all supplies
• Utilize lock out/tag out & PPE
• Perform light maintenance work when needed
• Worked seasonal shutdown for plant inventory count

• Worked as a temporary/part time packer in many areas of the factory until made full time June of '92.
