Summary

Coming from a well equipped family of educators I have strived to be another edition to my family to become successful. Being passionate and proud of the work I do. Adapting to circumstances is one of my main Strengths, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive Google classroom meets. An Enthusiastic teacher with a goal for making learning exciting and enjoyable. And motivated by the belief I have that all children can be successful learners no matter what background they have.

In addition I am Highly-skilled Sports Coach specialising in Rugby and Swimming training, providing motivational, inspiring leadership to students new to the sport and delivering personalised training programmes with energy and enthusiasm for optimised engagement and success.

  • Maintained accurate student records, such as process reports, absence sheets and the Proficiency in the use of ED-Admin, Adam and Ed-Labs to constantly improve classroom and staffroom efficiencies.
  • Taught multiple subjects to students with intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities.
  • Improved student's analytical skills by introducing state-of-the-art computer programme technologies. For Example; teaching robotics in a computer lab with the correct hardware and software. Using Blockly prop, Roboblockly and hour of code to develop learners use of technology in the field of coding and programming.

As my role of being a tour enrichment leader, i have been able to organise local tours and excursions for subject related matters. (Such as excursions to the Apartheid museum and Soweto suburbs for history and a tour to the blyde river canyon for Geography.) I have also had the responsibility of organising sporting tours (Such as tours to the Midmar dam, the biggest open water swim in the world, for Swimming).

  • Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently by staying in contact with traveling agency's and liaising information to parents in a timely manor.
  • Worked flexible hours, covering nights, weekends and personal holidays to plan and attend these tours.
