  • Work with Internal Accounting team to ensure the accountability of NM material is maintained by monitoring daily transactions, investigating issues, and making necessary adjustments in the accountability system to correctly reflect inventory.
  • Provide support to area personnel during physical inventory and reconciliation.
  • Apply process knowledge to identify and research inventory discrepancies.
  • Create queries and other tools to help problem solve and ensure accuracy of inventory data in the accountability system.
  • Collaborate with area personnel, custodians, and accounting team members to resolve discrepancies.
  • Adhere to requirements and guidelines set forth by DOE Order, MC&A Plan, NMCA Procedures, and area procedures.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams as a member of the Accountability Clocking Evaluation Team to identify areas of refinement and create new clocking sequences for related processes to reduce recurring errors.
  • Perform software testing to ensure aspects of the new accountability system, TRYAD, meet the design specifications and user expectations.
  • Teamed up with programmers to debug software issues and make necessary adjustments.
