With 4 years of MRI experience and 5 years of retail sales, I’ve learned taking care of the needs of people and being a source of joyfulness and positivity is what I love to provide best. The enjoyment I get every-time a patient tells me that I have given them a new positive perspective into MRI is unexplainable. Im a motivated, ambitious MRI technologist with strong self‑starter qualities. I bring enthusiasm, energy, and encouragement to every interaction I have whether it’s my co workers or patients that I see. I am committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest level of respect and compassionate care and treat them as how I would want to be treated. During my MRI career, I’ve had the opportunity to work operate on 3.0 Siemens, 3.0T/1.5TGE and 1.2T/0.3 Hitachi Airris. With my years of experience, I’ have been able to perform all MSK exams, prostate, abdominal, pituitary, CSF Flow, MRAs/MRVs, Liver Research, tumor research and can confidently say I can provide exceptional and accurate imaging.

  • My first out of state MRI position was an amazing experience. My time at Pueblo medical imaging was truly eye opening to the different modalities in Radiology. During my time at this location I operated on a 3.0T Siemens, 1.2T Hitchachi Open Unit and 3.0T / 1.5T GE MRI. My day to day exams consist of abdomens, prostates, special procedures, brains, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum, pelvis, hips, knees, ankles, feet, shoulder, tibia, and fibulas. Doing so, enhanced my skill set to scanning those specific exams and being extremely confident that I will deliver accurate and exceptional images to the radiologist. I have the opportunity on enhancing my IV puncture skill set, which ultimately let to enhanced confidence and knowledge on proper set up and sanitation before an IV.

  • My time at Imaging specialist of Pasadena sas extremely beneficial. At this location, I was able to scan on a Hitachi Airis II Open 0.3T and GE 3.0T system. With my experience on the Hitchachi machine I was able to coordinate and complete all ordered exams with the most accurate and exceptional images. I learned many more exams on the 3.0T GE machine, in regards to Prostate, abdominal, MRAs/MRVs, pituitary, CSF flow exams. I learned how to ensure each parameter is correct in each sequence and had to opportunity to enhance my IV skill set. This company allowed me to focus on being a team player and making sure everyone is being helped when asked. I will always bring a positive, encouraging, energetic mindset every shift I’m on.

  • During my time as a MRI student at the facility, I was taught how to treat patients to ensure the patient is safe to be scanned, position the patients into MRI machine, input patient history into computer system, prepare the room for scanning, scanned patients, provided CD, made films, scanned paperwork for safe contrast, interpreted Physicians’ instructions, explained MRI procedures to each patient, kept records of results. This facility had a Hitachi Airis II .3 Tesla Opensided. I learned to cater to claustrophobic patients and attend to the patient with a mindset of calmly and confidently explaining the entire MRI procedure. I not only visually checked in patients, but also verbally.
