- This internship has allowed me to gain hands-on experience with two major Parnassus Heights projects: the Bakar Research and Academic Building (BRAB) and the Parnassus Central Campus Site Improvements (PCCSI).
- My responsibilities include coordinating construction site signage installation, conducting regular site walks, supporting design coordination and logistics planning for BRAB, and completing construction/abatement activity reports for PCCSI.
- I work closely with owner/project managers, engineers, superintendents, construction managers, contractors, and design teams, allowing me to develop my understanding of building development and project execution.
- I also learned and utilize industry-standard software, such as Procore, StruxHub, and Autodesk, to manage documentation, track progress, and facilitate effective communication.
- This internship continues to build both my technical and interpersonal skills while deepening my understanding of how large-scale capital projects are delivered in healthcare, education, and research environments.
