Christian Hopkins

Working as a server, although not for incredibly long, I have learned valuable skills. These skills have been new to me along with helping me work and further develop previously attained skills. These skills mostly include social skills which are a necessity when working with older and sometimes challenged residents. Building connections and earning my place as a server for both the residents and the staff has been a challenging but educational process.

I'm currently employed at YOLO Parasail and have been for a little over a year and half. This was my first full time job where I experienced my first 60 plus hour weeks during both the 2023 and 2024 summers. After leaving my first job at AMI Creamery and Bakery with the social skills I had learned, made me a perfect fit at YOLO Parasail where I got to continue exercising my social skills at a more mentally and physically demanding job.
