At Garner Appliance, I've filled multiple roles, the main ones being warehouse worker and appliance technician. As an appliance tech, I learned how to professionally install the majority of electric appliances while being mindful of our clients' property and preferences. Additionally, working with constantly changing partners and environments has strengthened my ability to adapt to new problems and situations while maintaining good team communication and execution. As a warehouse worker, I am responsible for daily preparations such as delivery paperwork, receiving merchandise, locating and staging drivers' routes, along with loading the appliances into the trucks for transport. Besides daily responsibilities, it's my job to maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, while also assisting customers with exceptional customer service.

While working for Dent Wizard at Hendrick Auto Park, I served as a Wash Technician, responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers and service technicians. This role sharpened my attention to detail and strengthened my teamwork and communication skills through interactions with dealership employees and customers. I also gained valuable experience in site maintenance and upkeep. Additionally, with a staffing shortage, I learned how to independently manage the site, gaining insight into the responsibilities involved in running operations effectively.

While working at U.S. Lawns as a Commercial Landscaper, I operated a variety of lawn care equipment, including standing riding mowers, backpack blowers, edgers, and weed trimmers. The role required maintaining a fast pace while delivering high-quality results, which strengthened my ability to work efficiently without compromising effectiveness. Managing heavily used equipment also developed my troubleshooting skills to address mechanical issues as they arose. Additionally, collaborating with teammates who spoke limited English enhanced my communication abilities and adaptability in diverse work environments.

While working as a Tire Technician at Discount Tire, I gained valuable skills in changing and repairing tires. The role required me to perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Balancing work with school responsibilities strengthened my time management abilities and taught me the importance of planning for success. The competitive yet team-oriented culture at Discount Tire enhanced my comfort in high-pressure situations and further developed my teamwork skills.

As a crew member at Bojangles, I was trained in all areas of work and was assigned to a different position depending on what was needed on a given day. For the most part, they stationed me in the window because I was good at dealing with angry customers and resolving problems while maintaining a kind and calm demeanor. Bojangles taught me a lot about interactions with customers and how to successfully work in a fast-paced team environment.

As a Wash Technician at Sam's Car Wash, I was responsible for preparing vehicles before their entry into the automated wash system to ensure the exterior remained free from damage. I also assisted customers post-wash to address any concerns and ensure a positive experience. Additional duties included performing routine maintenance on equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized site at all times. This role enhanced my teamwork abilities and developed my skills in problem resolution, both with machinery and customer interactions.
