I've been working on the sports industry since 2011 first as a sports journalist down in my home country of Puerto Rico. There I had the chance to work on the newspaper Noticel, the biggest sports website down in the island www.tabdeportes.com another up and coming sports page queapelo.com and at the same time I founded Boricuas en el Baseball and it website www.boricuasenbaseball.net in 2011. Since 2012 I have been getting free agent baseball players professional contracts in every Professional Baseball League in the United States as well as in Mexico, Taiwan and Europe (Czech Republic and Italy). I'm in the process of opening my own agency Visionary Sports Agency with my main offices in Orlando, Florida and scouts in Puerto Rico, Miami, Texas and New York. With my experience I have brought the Guatemala National Baseball Team to play a week long series in Davenport, Fl. Other countries who had contacted us to either work on a trip to the USA or for us to go down to their countries are Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Colombia and Honduras. I have also made connections with different Summer Collegiate Leagues who every year ask for my recommendations. I have work with leagues in the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada and Mexico. As of right now I also work with the Visionary Baseball Stars Program as a CollegePlacementSpecialistand Recruiter. In this program we work very hard to get the best prospects out to High School from Puerto Rico college or professional baseball. We work with every element of what makes a great baseball player with a professional staff. We have kids from the age of 12 to professional Free Agents who are part of this amazing program that we hope to keep growing and getting everyone involve the chances they need. Me been 35 years old I believe all of my accomplishments are just the beginning of a big and successful career in the sports industry. I have also worked as the General Manager of a Semi-Pro baseball team down in Puerto Rico The Caimanes del Melao Melao de Vega Baja AA Baseball where I was in charge of the player personnel, advertising and was their webmaster. After finishing my studies I have expanded my resume by working as a an agent sending players to the independent Atlantic League, American Association, and Frontier League in the 2019, 2021 and 2022 seasons. Befor finishing my studies I have also been working with the same leagues plus the Pacific Association, USPBL and some other leagues that have now folded like the United League Baseball. I have also worked as an Assistant General Manager for the Atenienses de Manati of the Puerto Rican Winter League during the 2020-2021 season and the Gigantes de Carolina during the 2021-2023 season. Since the summer of 2020 to Present I have worked as a College Placement Specialist/Coach for the Figs Prospects Organization in Kissimmee, Fl. In another great experience in 2021 I have been in contact with Lino Rivera the Manager of Team Haiti for the WBC Qualifiers to scout players with Haitians Heritage for their roster in their upcoming tournaments. In 2023 to present I have worked as coach Jose Figueroa College Placement Specialist at his highly touted school Southeastern Preparatory Academy wich is full of very talented coaches who are still active in MLB affiliated teams like Daytona Tortugas (Reds Class A Coach) Osmin Melendez and MLB Draft Leag Manager Tony Caballero. In 2025 I have also expanded and started sending profesional players to the Fourth MLB partner League the .Pioneer League. As of now I have also placed almost 70 players in four full years without counting the covid year.
