I am currently an Electronics Engineering Technician for Sonar systems on Nuclear Submarines. Some of my duties include but not limited to:

• Reviewed and interpreted service manuals, specifications, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Multiple trips representing my team across the country with senior members of NAVSEA and Department of the Navy.
• Collaborated with engineering teams locally and around the NAVSEA corporation to implement system upgrades and modifications.
• Trained junior technicians on safety protocols and best practices in electronics repair.
• Utilized test instruments to troubleshoot circuit boards and complex electrical components effectively.
• Supported installations of various electrical and electronic components in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
• Delivered high-quality results under pressure by managing multiple simultaneous projects with tight deadlines efficiently.
• Supported multiple projects to upgrade existing electronic systems, resulting in more robust and reliable operations.
• Performed acceptance testing and measurements on electronic components and assemblies to verify system compliance.

Senior Equipment Technician, Allegro Microsystems. This position requires the ability to be able to troubleshoot major or minor problems with IC chip test machines and electronics using various hand tools and electronics testing equipment such as DMM’s, LCR meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Some of my duties included but not limited to:

• Conducted routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Trained junior technicians on equipment handling, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Diagnosed and repaired mechanical issues, reducing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Led troubleshooting efforts during production failures, minimizing disruptions to the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshot equipment failures and remedied problems to restore functionality.
• Maintained comprehensive documentation of equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and performance data for future reference.

Responsible for approximately 25 ship-fitters, welders, outside electricians, pipe fitters, sound dampeners/ poly carpenters, stage builders, and machinists. Some of my duties include but not limited to:

• This position required me to be responsible for manpower scheduling and timekeeping for my employees.
• I was involved on a daily basis working with the trades fabricating and support construction of nuclear submarines.
• Prior to taking the supervisor position, I was the lead mechanic of the only “flex trades” crew. The requirements for this unique crew is that you must have firsthand knowledge as a fabricator/welder, outside electrician and machinist, sound dampening, ventilation duct working and sheet metal, pipe and shop fittings, and painting. I was the working lead of this crew for both 1st and 2nd shift, and responsible for training new and veteran personnel to learn the different trade functions as well as keeping jobs organized while trying to work under budget and on schedule.
