Inpatient setting:
- Conduct rounds to monitor progress and recovery of up to 14 patients per day while fulfilling teaching/academic duties.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate treatment, therapy and medication in a fast-paced hospital setting.
- Collect, record and maintain patient information and medical history in EMR.
- Confer with different specialists and other staff members to administer high level of care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Clinical instructor for the University of Vermont in charge of training, supervising and educating medical students.
Outpatient setting:
- Provide medical care in general ambulatory care center, subspecialty offices, and geriatric settings.
- Provide phone coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week during call weeks.
- Conducted medical interviews both in Spanish and English to provide the highest level of care and establish outstanding rapport.
