At AFMA I am an instructor of Martial Arts for ages 4 through adults. In this position, not only am I required to be able to teach karate, but I was required to make sure that kids pay attention to the task at hand. I was able to build relationships and communicate effectively with both the staff and also with the students. I also developed leadership and public speaking skills by teaching classes on my own.
