In my role as a traveling maintenance tech. I am held accountable to high standards when on my own to perform only the best work. Customer service and communication with both the customer and my supervisor are crucial so there is a lead time on job completion and possible issues. The main goal on the job is safety while I perform my duties which include

• Diagnosed mechanical issues and implemented effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Developed and maintained detailed records of maintenance activities for compliance purposes.
• Installing industrial shredders and balers with fork lifts
• Routine preventative maintenance and repair
• Be responsible for me, and the WHOLE job and come up with solutions to problems
• Go through all of the machinery to clarify that everything meets safety standards, this includes installing guards and extra E-stops and safety light curtains where needed
• Be proficient and safe with all hand and power tools
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot.
• Work on high and low voltage systems and do the main power tie in's when machinery is installed
• Use voltage meter to test continuity and other aspects in a panel
• Travel all over the U.S.
• Train all necessary employees who will be using this new equipment on how to safely and properly operate as well as lock out if needed.

in my role as an industrial maintenance tech. everyday was started with a kickoff meeting to inform the shift coming in of any issues or simply to just tell them that everything is running smooth. communication is key in places like this. on my day to day

• Conducted routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery to ensure optimal performance. based on my weekly and monthly PM lists
• Managed inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Trained new technicians in safety protocols and operational procedures, fostering a culture of compliance.
• Led initiatives to streamline maintenance workflows, reducing downtime and increasing productivity across the facility.
• Used problem-solving skills to alleviate issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Used schematics to properly diagnose electrical or hydraulic issues

Some of the machinery we worked on daily, all but not limited to:

• Smart/regular conveyors
• can seamers, change out the tooling and heights as well as adjust guards for cans
• Pneumatic systems on the transport systems(Diverter's), silos, robots, automatic box makers (etc,,) sometimes it requires a coil replacement or an issue with the solenoid valve.
• fast paced emergencies on a machine shutdown to replace parts to get the machine running as fast and safely as possible to get it back into production
• Dust collectors
• Hydraulic presses
• electrical panels for troubleshooting
• Electromechanical equipment above the machines

• In this role I was responsible for the changing over 60 of the molds on the injection molding machines for different orders.
• This involved using an overhead crane to lower and lift the molds.
• We ran hydraulic lines and repaired them as well as water cooling lines to the molds.
• Every mold change requires us to change out the injection nozzles and nozzle heaters for different sizes.
• In some cases we were required to repair the hydraulic ram seal on the machine as they aged as well as some other preventative maintenance such as electrical panel low and high voltage troubleshooting replacing PLC systems contactor's, relays, fuses and changing drive fans.
• The biggest task was safety in our plant.
• We practiced and used LOTO regularly and took courses on safety.
• If I was not doing mold changes I was troubleshooting electrical failures in the panels and using schematics to do so, rebuilding hydraulics and electro-mechanical parts.
• To help the company save money I would also rebuild the pneumatic valves.

• Put together work projects with supervisors and other techs to complete high priority jobs.
• Read machine printouts to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Install high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Maintained all lubrication on thermoforming machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and on the spot repair/calibration of machinery.
• Assembled and disassembled large hydraulic cylinders.
• Operate thermoforming machines.
• Installed/ repaired conveyer systems.
• Worked with and maintained natural gas and water systems.
• Maintained all hvac and chillers.
• Worked with and maintained all PLC automation equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical motors.
• In charge of all lubrication and filters.
• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdowns to all blowers and vacuums going from silos to the line.
• Perform preventative maintenance and any breakdown calls to the extrusion lines. Most calls on extrusion were issues with the gear boxes and screen changers as well as heaters.
• Once every other day I was responsible for checking all gas lines connected to extrusion and making sure all fittings were tight.

• Practice safety daily.
• Report to supervisor every morning and communicate.
• Prep tooling for changeovers on thermoformers and trim press.
• Support production and shift mechanics in the case of a breakdown on thermoforming lines.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns on thermoforming machines, baggers, gearboxes and three phase motors (low and high voltage).
• Complete a full changeover on the line.
• Keep all areas clean where work is performed.
• Used electrical schematics to pinpoint issues in the troubleshooting process when working on packing equipment, conveyors, and other machines.
• Repaired industrial grinders by removing blades, shafts, and bearings to replace them with new or repaired parts.
• Completed weekly/monthly P.M.'s on assigned equipment. (Vacuum pumps, conveyors, dust collectors, PLC systems) Etc.

• In this role I was responsible for not only running the CNC router and punch machines, but my biggest responsibility was the preventive maintenance to the machines themselves.
• This involves using schematics to troubleshoot and locate specific electrical and mechanical parts that needed to be changed out.
• This was really the beginning of my maintenance career and where I learned to work on high voltage equipment and how to pay attention to detail to know when something on a machine is not working properly.
• I also repaired the shearing machine that cut metal which involved breaking down hydraulic cylinders and rebuilding them, as well as pneumatic systems.
• When everything was running great I would also help program the PLC systems on the CNC machines how's this was a crucial part of the machine and how it ran.
• I learned inputs and outputs and how to tell when there was no connection and where to find the issue.
• As always safety was our number one aspect before performing any task so communication was key.
