• Conducted field research in Indiana preschools for the study, Using Data to Strengthen the Quality of the Early Learning System in Indiana. Collected data using Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test IV (PPTV 4), Woodcock Johnson IV (WJ01 and 02), Dimensional Change Cart Sort (DCCS), Peg Tapping (PT)

• Assisted in a counting and cardinality study conducted by a Professor in the Cognitive Learning and Development Lab. Carried out intervention and assessment with various preschoolers in the South Bend area. Transcribed videos of sessions.

• Planned and implemented instruction in all subject areas to kindergarten classes and a kindergarten/first grade split class. Developed considerable differentiated instructional strategies to address a very diverse, high needs population, including non-English speaking students.

• Provided math intervention for 3rd and 4th grade students using Delta Math. Administered Phonics screener for Intervention to determine placement for reading intervention.

• Provided literacy and math intervention for students in kindergarten through second grade. Administered DRA testing and running records. Worked closely with classroom teachers to monitor and adjust student progress. Provided progress reports to parents, teachers and administration.
