Why 26 years?

My favorite part of working at the City was talking to the customers.  Followed closely by working with other employees. I talked to the same customers often, sometimes every month and I got to know them personally and help them utilize city services to the best of their ability. I worked with a lot of talented and caring people who taught me so many things.  I was given lots of side projects that kept the job interesting.
