Summary

I originally started as a nurse tech at CCMH in PACU until I graduated and received my RN license. I then transferred to CCMH Surgicare (preop/post op) department when I received my license in 2018 working with the CCMH Ortho surgeons, general surgeons, occasionally assisting PACU when they would get overwhelmed, etc until leaving in June 2022 to further my experience at OU Medical Center as a preop nurse. I dealt with a wide spectrum of patients, procedures, transplant patients, etc. and I feel very comfortable in my role to assisting/educating the patient and their family members prior to their procedure, post procedure, or hospital stay. I left OU so I could be closer to home with my kids as they finished school. I then accepted a different position at CCMH working in a pain management clinic August 2023 to January 2026. I am ready to get back in the hospital setting to utilize my nursing skills.
