Provide emotional support and guidance to new mothers and families during labor, delivery and postpartum.

Aid with induction of labor for women suffering from complications such as preeclampsia.
Coordinate care of low and high-risk laboring women of childbearing age and immediate stabilization of newborn following delivery.
Work closely with doctors and midwives in coaching pregnant women through childbirth and post-natal recovery.
Assist obstetricians and midwives with deliveries and cared for newborns directly after birth.
Perform vital signs checks and administered vaccinations to infants following birth.
Increase patient satisfaction by providing compassionate, individualized care throughout the labor and delivery process.
Promote maternal-infant bonding by educating new parents on infant care techniques such as breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact.
Provide emotional support to patients experiencing difficult births or pregnancy complications.
Participate in regular departmental meetings, providing valuable insight and suggestions for improvement.
Educate expectant mothers on available pain management options during the birthing process while respecting individual preferences.
Mentor new nursing staff members, sharing best practices and offering guidance to ensure a high level of patient care.
Enhance patient care by implementing evidence-based nursing practices in labor and delivery procedures.
Deliver high level of quality care to diverse populations.
