REALTOR, Property Manager with Preferred Real Estate Management. Chris became a Licensed Ohio Real Estate Agent / REALTOR in 1999, then added a Indiana Agent License a couple of years later. In 2004 Chris began managing rental property when her and her husband purchased their first rental property. That property was a 4 Family in Hamilton, OH, they added another 4 family in Harrison, OH and have since purchased Single Family Homes. From 2008 to 2013 Chris was out of Real Estate completely, returning in August, 2013 to work Full Time as a Property Manager for a new company with only 50 doors. As the Property / Office Manager that company grew to a 600+ doors. Chris oversaw all phases, coordinating with and helping with Leasing, advertising, Owner coordination and working with Maintenance ensuring work orders and Turns were completed. In January 2018, after leaving that company Chris worked part time for an Owner helping manage his 115 privately owned doors while working to start ETW Real Estate which began on 9/1/2018. At the same time starting Clover Preferred Properties LLC with a partner to provide Emergency Services, Maintenance and Turns for the Management Clients. Since 9/2018, ETW Real Estate has changed to Preferred Real Estate Management, a "Sister" company to RE/MAX Preferred Group, the two LLC's share a Principal Broker. Chris is a very "hands-on" Property Manager who knows all of the properties she manages and can discuss maintenance and repair items easily. Ideally Chris is in the field a third of the time and in office the rest. Chris handles all evictions going to court in Hamilton County and City of Hamilton / Butler County Courts, including First and Second Cause. In 2023 Chris attended the Certified Apartment Manager Course put on by the National Apartment Association and passes the test to earn her CAM Certification. In addition, Licensed Real Estate Agents must attend and pass 30 Hours of Continuing Education every 3 years Chris chooses classes on law, fair housing, and Investing and attends the Property Management Course offered by the Ohio Association of Realtors yearly to stay up to date on any legal or policy changes regarding the industry.
