Recertifies operating and maintenance personnel as dictated by departmental practices and policies to assure a prescribed level of proficiency in critical job responsibilities is maintained.

• Instructs and certifies operators and supervisors on the functional operation of various processes and system elements including vehicle troubleshooting, operation of switches, local control panels, other wayside equipment, and etc.
