• Documentation of all clinical observations into unit health record, patient teaching, administer tuberculin skin tests upon reception and release of inmates, observation and evaluation of psychological interventions including recording of therapeutic progress.

• Welcome patients and inquire as to their well-being, demonstrating compassion when interacting with them
• Perform COVID-19 nasal swab testing of patients in an outdoor drive-up setting
• Screen patients/staff as required by the Coronavirus Policy
• Collecting nasopharyngeal swab samples
• Assists patients as needed to and from the waiting area
• Assures confidentiality of patient information and medical records
• Label appropriately prepare and store lab samples in accordance with required laboratory specifications

• Admission of residents, administer and refill of medications (orally, hypodermically, intramuscularly and topically), treatment of wounds, rashes, catheterization, bladder irrigation, suctioning procedure and throat irrigation, enemas, and etc., carry out lab orders such as blood work, and specimen collection, G-tube feeding, maintain chart of resident care and change of conditions, admit new residents to the facility, phone reception, maintain multiple paperwork duties, accept verbal and telephone orders from physician administer pulse oximetry, humidification therapy, utilizing equipment and all else that may be required including assuming all other responsibilities as directed.

• Working with diverse patient categories including disabled minors and adults; passing medication, feeding through G-tubes, trachea and g-tube care, catheterization, bathing/showering, dressing, wound care, giving injections as necessary, starting IVs, turning patients to prevent pressure ulcers, transcription of patient medication into MARS, taking vital signs, monitor patients throughout the day and inform RN and doctors of any change on condition, keep charts of patient’s condition, etc.

• Provide accurate assessments, oversight, and monitoring of patients for quality medical management and early detection of changes in condition
• Respond promptly to evaluate and remedy patient concerns and complaints; manages and documents accordingly
• Utilizes professional standards in performing basic assessment and clinical monitoring in accordance with scope of licensure
• Recognizes and appropriately responds to emergent and significant changes in condition; complete documentation as required
• Effectively communicates accurate assessment details, medical history, advanced directives, and availability of onsite services to physicians.
