The High Throughput Mammalian Process (HiTMaP) Development lab is a state-of-the-art bioprocess development laboratory featuring high-throughput cell culture, purification, and process analytical technologies combined with strategic integration and automation.

As HiTMaP operations manager I am responsible for the efficient operation of the process development teams working collaboratively in this lab. I also routinely operate cell culture equipment including Ambr 250 HT and Ambr 15 as needed.

• Performed laboratory tests and analyses on human blood, urine, and other specimens to detect and quantify hormones, antibodies, drugs, microorganisms, cellular components, and other constituents of body fluids.
• Received specimens and reviewed for quality, labeling and accessioning,
• Completed routine sample processing, validations and reagent QC runs.
• Operated various laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, incubators and spectrophotometers.
• Analyzed specimens using a variety of microbiological techniques such as Gram staining, plating, and biochemical testing.

• Conducted experiments exclusively using AMBR15 and AMBR250s.
• Wrote AMBR programs and excused 14 day process development studies.
• Collected and organized data, wrote reports on findings.
• Evaluated materials used in production processes to obtain highest cell growth, titer production and product quality.
• Participated in team meetings to discuss progress on current research projects.
• Monitored safety regulations and ensured that all protocols were followed correctly.
• Operated a variety of laboratory equipment including microscopes, centrifuges, incubators.
• Trained new staff members on proper techniques when conducting experiments.
• Attended product trade shows and user groups related to AMBR operation.
