As a nurse at the villa at sunny acres my responsibilities were many. Most recently I worked 12 hr. shifts over night and before that actually did all shifts and worked where staff was needed on a PRN basis. I would monitor the residents who lived in the memory care unit, about 50 residents, over night. I provided safety, security, health care including woundcare, medication administration, and also detailed assessments as needed. I oversaw the care that my CNAs would give and would jump in to help whenever and wherever I was needed.
